MOVING,
in every way ✨🖤

L&N are moving - this will be our last week in our beautiful shop 🥹 but we’re not going far, we’re just sleeping, having a little rest - hibernating so we can wake up fresh bright and ready to keep sharing the love we have for all the pieces from the past we adore.

Our rather lovely problem is that L&N needs more space but so does our caffè La Follia 💛💚

Because we think the village might revolt if we took the caffè away - we’re going to put Lamb & Newt to one side until we decide whether to popup with it again or find another abode ✨🖤

Meanwhile, La Follia will stretch out into the shop space - thrive in its new home and keep welcoming all the wonderful people who walk through our doors.

We’re going to keep the L&N vibe at La Follia with a little ‘Mercato’ side to the business 👏 so we’ll keep sharing the things we love here on insta, but do hop over to where our re-loved world lives on.

It’s not goodbye, it’s adieu and see you later 🫶

We’ve got some very exciting news - COMING SOON - about our little shop & cafe, which means we’re emptying our storage unit and setting up shop at Ardingly’s first Friday/Saturday event.

We are Lamb & Newt

Lamb & Newt’s founders came together because of their shared creative love of evocative every day objects. Especially objects that have had a previous life, many of them forgotten in our throwaway world. “The timing of us coming together and our collective experience in art direction, styling and event planning was serendipitous. This is simply what we were always meant to do” Co-founders – Mariana, Kate, Hannah & Louise.

Now we curate our own contemporary classic style for you. Presenting lovingly sourced and often rejuvenated mid-century, vintage and antique objects for every day living. We’ll be working with artisans and supporting young designers to bring you re-invented and re-loved pieces that sit perfectly together to create a contemporary backdrop to life.

We’re not re-inventing the wheel or saving the world, but we are determined to reveal how much beauty already exists that’s just waiting to be re-loved. We’ll show you how you can bring a little history into your modern every day.

The Barn Emporium We have 3 main shop events a year, Spring Autumn and Christmas, where we’ll be transforming a barn into a unique emporium of antique, vintage and mid-century finds – our ever evolving world of diversity.
