Grey skies outside, cosy and calm inside, at the touch of a button ☁️

Here's a lovely motorised roof lantern blind we fitted for a customer in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. It takes the glare and heat off on bright days, keeps the warmth in on chilly evenings, and looks smart in a deep navy that frames the lantern perfectly.

Thinking about something similar for your home in Gainsborough, Lincoln, Retford or nearby? We do shutters, blinds and curtains, all made to measure. Get in touch at www.eclipsesbc.com 💙

Nothing like getting your hands on a couple of large juicy oranges! 🍊

Spotted this lovely fruit and veg stall in a lay-by on the way back from a job in Woodhall Spa and had to stop. Fresh, local and friendly, exactly how it should be. Always happy to support our fellow Lincolnshire small businesses. 💚

Some jobs stay with you 🤍 Leanne asked us to fit our Hampton range polyvinyl plantation shutters in her bathroom and bedroom in Retford, just a short drive from Lincoln.

🛁 Bathroom: waterproof shutters that won't warp in the steam, and it looks just stunning.
🛏️ Bedroom: crisp white shutters across the whole window. Breathtaking, especially after Richard from Clarke's Home and Garden finished the panelling and decorating.

There's a personal story behind this one too. Not long after my dad Malcolm got in touch for the first time in about ten years, I walked into Leanne's at Christmas and saw five stockings over the fireplace spelling M-A-L-C. I took it as a sign, replied to him, and we've spoken almost every day since. It's strange how things work out 💛

Thank you, Leanne!

The perfect finishing touch for the perfect office 🪵🖤

Mick asked us to help transform his home office near Bawtry. With sage green walls, walnut furniture and a herringbone floor it already looked stunning, so we tied the windows into the room with walnut wood Venetian blinds, finished with black tapes and black pulls.

☀️ Slats open: the light pours in and the walnut glows.
🌙 Slats closed: the sun is blocked out and the true colour of the wood really shines.

It was an absolute pleasure working with you, Mick. Thank you!

Our Rachel, Keira, Tash, and Max just smashed the National Three Peaks Challenge — all for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis, Snowdon, back to back. Massive thanks to drivers Lionel and Mark for keeping it all running. Incredible effort, incredible cause.
