Weve just finished this oak framed summerhouse in the Meon valley. All the oak comes from a tree that was felled locally about 10 years ago. It was sawn and 'sticked' out......and left to dry. We bought it early this year. The door and window frames are oak as are the corner posts. The external cladding is cedar and the roof is cedar shingles. All four walls, the ceiling and floor are insulated and the finished floor is engineered oak. The doors and windows are also double glazed.

Open as usual this Friday and Saturday (10.30am - 4.00pm.) with an interesting collection of pots and planters: some lovely pieces of wood including walnut, western red cedar, mappa, holly, yew, maple, alder, ash and oak.
Plus a selection of hand made food boards and trugs.

Just in, a 1967 child's desk - 2 seater. All we've done is clean it up a bit and oil the top....oh and clean off the graffiti on the inside of the lid - I don't think anyone really wants to know whether Bullock Holt's feelings for Mary Hazelwood were returned or not, and his remarks about her physical assets are best left deleted.

Long time no post so thought I would just let you know that we have recently bought in some new pieces and thoght we would share them with you. Plus a lovely Victorian pine chiffonier at £325 . Plus some tubs of screws and fixings and two trays of bits and pieces - these really need to go a we need the space so very much a bargain prices at £2 a tub/tray.
