So now, we've reached the sad parting of the ways from Robins Nest Emporium at Fareham, as the store is about to permanently close at the end of this month (May, 2023) and we have already cleared out all of our stock, as many other dealers who have traded in the store have as well. Trading had built up well over the time we were based there, but economy pressures became unsustainable for the managers of the store, who, like many other businesses, have been hard hit by rising business rates & running costs, so have decided to quit before they ran into financial problems themselves.

We have arranged to re-locate, albeit to a much smaller trading area for the time being, in the excellent, well established "Warwick Lane" Shopping Mall located in the historic Wickham Square, and will be trading there from the beginning of June. If you visit on a good weather day, perhaps you can also enjoy a walk around the area, too? There's also a popular tea room upstairs, ideal for enjoying some tasty treats, while you consider what purchases you fancy making with some of the many traders within the Mall. So, it's the end of one era for us, at Robins Nest Southampton, but the beginning of a new one in the brand new Robins Nest at Fareham! The last of our stock was moved from one Emporium to the other this morning, & now, we're on a countdown to the exciting opening on Saturday, 2nd.! Here's a few pix we took before we left our new venue today. We will open a new page on Saturday, dedicated to the Fareham store.

We were back in the new Fareham's Robins Nest today, setting up our pitch, ready for Saturday's Grand Opening! We're 95% done now, & will take out the last remaining pieces from Southampton to include in our new locoation, then a few photos will be taken & posted for you all to see. Everyone's worked so hard to turn a neglected "Ugly Duckling" of a store into a fantastic, shiney new "Swan" of a place! We're all now looking forward to this Saturday's Grand Opening, & hope that we'll see many of you there to celebrate the event with us?

So, plans are now afoot for our relocation to the brand new outlet of Robins Nest, opening in Fareham next month. Anybody visiting the Southampton store now, will perhaps notice that a few details have changed in our display there, as certain display items have been removed, to be repositioned in the new store. There's still a lot of work to be carried out in the new location, but we're assured that everything's on schedule. It's going to be a great Emporium when it's up & running, but at the moment, a fair bit of imagination's required. Watch this space for updates!

As a footnote, for anybody wondering about this ..... The Southampton Emporium will remain open, as this Fareham venue is just another addition to the group. :)

WE ARE MOVING!!! We will be leaving the Southampton Robins Nest Emporium by the end of January, to re-locate to the brand new Emporium opening in West Street, Fareham at the beginning of February, 2019.

Throughout January, quite a few items of our stock at the Southampton outlet are reduced by 50%, at the moment, so grab a bargain while you can!
