✨ Beautiful Bespoke Curtains & Voiles ✨

Another beautiful bedroom room completed as part of a whole-house project I’ve been working my way through with my lovely client, who has exceptional taste in fabrics and a wonderful eye for detail.

For this Guest bedroom, we chose stunning Villa Nova fabrics, creating an elegant combination of beautifully patterned curtains and delicate embroidered voiles.

Both have been expertly made with bespoke pinch pleat headings, giving a beautifully tailored and luxurious finish.

The curtains and voiles are fitted onto discreet curtain tracks, keeping the overall look clean and understated.

By hanging the curtains from ceiling height, we create the illusion of taller ceilings, elongating the window and enhancing the sense of space.

The delicate embroidered voiles add softness, texture and privacy while allowing natural light to filter gently into the room.

It’s been such a pleasure working alongside my client, carefully selecting fabrics and bringing each room together, one by one.

🌈 A little behind-the-scenes look at bespoke curtain making…

These beautiful Villa Nova curtains are being made completely by hand, with each pinch pleat individually formed and hand sewn for a beautifully tailored finish.

And before the hand sewing begins… a little rainbow of clips holds every pleat perfectly in position. 🌈🧵✂️

It’s these little stages — measuring, matching, forming and stitching every pleat — that go into creating truly bespoke, hand-finished curtains.

I just love the gorgeous watercolour tones in this Villa Nova fabric too. 💙💜🩷💚

Autumn 🍂 has arrived and the Studio door has been decorated to celebrate the beautiful autumnal colours of the season.
This is my favourite time of the year walking the dog in the woodlands and seeing the tree leaves 🍁 changing and covering the floor like a carpet of 🍂 leaves.

Every bespoke curtain begins long before the finished installation.
It starts with a carefully selected roll of fabric arriving at the studio, paired with the perfect trimmings chosen to complement the design.
From there, every stage is completed by hand – measuring, pattern matching, cutting, pinning, and sewing with precision and care.
Centre overlaps a must 👌🏻 with showing the beautiful trimming.

Once each pair has been meticulously crafted, pressed, and quality checked, they’re ready for the final stage:

A little note to my lovely customers,

Sadly, my beautiful studio dog and daily work companion, Maggie May, has passed away.

She was by my side every single day in the studio — greeting customers, keeping me company through long hours, and bringing so much comfort and happiness to my working days. The studio will feel very empty without her gentle presence.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while I take a little time to adjust to losing such a special girl.

She will be deeply missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
