I’ve been so busy with my new ‘proper job’ that it’s been ages since I’ve had a hook and yarn in my hand!

So yesterday, to show support for Mental Health Awareness Week I did just that!

Couple of quick projects for colleagues so they can ‘wear green’ …

As 2022 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to you all for your continued support of my ‘baby’ .

‘Thank you’ … for every like, comment and, of course, each and every order. It is such a pleasure to create items for you and those you care about. I am incredibly grateful, especially during these times when we are all feeling the financial squeeze.

I am already looking forward to more yarny adventures in 2023 … my hands are twitching in readiness to grab my hooks again!

As you all know, I LOVE rainbows 🌈

You probably also know by now that for every rainbow (or rainbow-coloured) order I receive I donate to Children’s Hospice in memory of a very special little boy, George Burt.

This incredible tiny human was born seven years ago today (happy birthday gorgeous George!) and spent his handful of precious days with his mummy & daddy at Claire House.

To mark this special day I have designed a limited edition ‘George Burt polar bear ’ 🐻‍❄️. I will only be making seven of these, one for each year since George was born.

Each bear is adorned with a star (because George is a shining star 🌟) and, of course, a rainbow tie for hope 🌈.

These seven little bears are available to order for £25 (plus P&P), £7 of which will go to Claire House in memory of George and to help support them to continue doing their incredible work for children and their families at very difficult times.

If you would like a George Burt Polar Bear please send me a direct message, as always nothing is pre-made and each bear will be made to order to be with you in time for Christmas.

A huge thank you to Danielle & Dave Burt for their permission to share this photograph of their beautiful boy, for allowing me to mark George’s birthday and for always supporting me as I raise much needed funds for Claire House in honour of their George ⭐️

Perfect weather for this super cosy circular lap blanket!

Absolutely bespoke … Crafted in the most delicious pomegranate pink to match my customer’s beautiful new chair (fabric swatch provided by the client) paired with warm cream and a touch of grey (which picks out the cool tone of her carpet).

Lovely modern feel with the popcorn border and a spiral of ‘holes’ throughout to ensure maximum ‘floppiness’ so this blanket really falls into all the contours of your legs… no gaps means no drafts getting in!

I can’t wait to see it in situ xx
