Today would have been Neil's birthday and Sophie has decided that today is a great day to launch her Robin Christmas decoration in his honour.

Robins will cost £3 each or 4 for £10 and £1 from each Robin sold will go towards the foodbank shop that she will do nearer to Xmas.

Personalised with any name or title.

This very much sums up my day today.

I left work this morning and headed straight to my usual felt supplier to stock up ready for Xmas decorations. Disaster, they no longer stock the soft felt that I normally get and have instead opted for some really hard, cheap felt that is not going to be suitable. Cue a full day of searching various suppliers for something similar to what I usually use.

The good news is, I've managed to source a new supplier who stocks exactly what I was looking for at a similar price to what I was paying before. Therefore I won't need to up my prices at all this year for Xmas decorations. Sophie has cheered up as the new supplier stocks a great colour for her new idea which will be revealed middle of next week once the felt arrives.

There will also be a new product revealed tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Hi everyone. Just a quick post to see if anyone would like any personalised Halloween decorations making? £3 each or 4 for £10.

This year I have recruited my daughter Sophie to help, and she is currently working on a couple of new Xmas designs. After much discussion, she has decided to donate £1 from each decoration sold to our local food bank. We will also do the same for Xmas dec's which will be advertised at the weekend.

When we have a final total, she will do a food shop with the money raised and take along to the food bank.

Now the kids are back to school, I'm setting up the sewing machine again ready for Xmas orders. (And birthdays, christenings and any other occasion you can think of!).

Wow, Facebook tells me I haven't posted on my page for 582 days 😲.

After having a really long break after Neil passed away, I've spent time looking after my girls and trying to get back on track with life. We are all in a good place and I've decided that now is as good a time as any to set back up again.

So hello to everyone and thank you all for your support whilst I've been away from here.
