📢 We’re Hiring – Office Junior / Customer Services Assistant
📍 Based in Sowerby Bridge, Halifax
We’re a local, family-run business and, due to a large and growing number of ongoing orders, we’re looking for someone to join our office team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised, and wants to start their career. The role has the potential to progress into window and door processing, with full training provided.
What you’ll be doing:
✔ Answering customer phone calls and emails.
✔ Providing updates on orders and jobs.
✔ Using your initiative to find out what’s happening with orders by speaking to colleagues and suppliers.
✔ Relaying clear and accurate information back to customers.
✔ General office administration and computer work.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has good computer skills.
• Is confident speaking on the phone.
• Is organised and able to work on their own initiative.
• Has a friendly, professional manner.
• Is keen to learn and develop within the business.
Previous office or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential – attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
This role would particularly suit an organised school or college leaver looking to start a full-time career, although applications from anyone with the right skills and attitude are welcome.
