Happy Friday , we are open today till 3pm , come over or pop in if you are passing . Back rd still closed :( we have lots of small pieces of homewares in , we’re not just furniture . I love vintage crockery , I don’t have full sets a few pieces the same , that’s why we sell our individually . The paper guillotine is very dangerous but I like it , they had the exact same one in a Peaky blinders episode! Vintage pegs were made to last , these came from a very old lady of 102 who looked after them so well , sadly she’s had to go into a home , but her pegs will get to hang out in someone news garden .

We’ve changed our coffee machine , already ? I know ! It was too complicated & relied on the internet. This one is super easy , get a cup press a button ,pay at counter ! All drinks £2.90 I’m looking forward to a hot chocolate tomorrow, open from 10 - 3pm . Thank you to everyone who came out today in the rain & drove the long way round as the road is still closed till Friday . We do appreciate the effort . New stock coming in all the time , lee is currently getting drenched picking up stock from Bedford auction , car park is flooding .

Just me & Charlie this morning , lee delivering in London . New today wicker chair & lovely circular puff ball foot stool . Also some ivy it’s so great at insulating your home grown on the outside of your house of course , it can lower inside temp by 5 degrees in summer !! So we need to stop pulling it of our brick work , it’s also home to so many creatures , we are all nature so let live together better

We are back from camping🥲 it was the best time altogether, swimming , cooking , dancing ,playing pool , table tennis & walking in the woods some where being chased a few small injuries but loads of fun .
We are looking forward to being open as normal now from Thursday to Sunday , sorry to anyone who came over at the weekend to find us closed .

New in today this very old Victorian painted church pew dating from 1846. We picked up two of these last week - this one has had its much needed makeover and is in the shop today. Great as a hallway seat or along a higher window.

We’re open as normal today and tomorrow from 10-3 but closed Saturday and Sunday this week only. If you’re popping in you’ll need to come the Croydon way to avoid temporary road closures for the next fortnight.

We have a couple of closures to tell you about this week.

The road to the shop from Eynesbury via Potton Road is closed now until the 4th September to enable the new road layout to be put in place. The easiest way to get to us is via the A428 towards Cambridge - take the first right turning signposted Abbotsley (the old Spreadeagle turnoff) then come thru Abbotsley and we are on the right just outside the village (St Neots side)

We’re open as usual Thursday and Friday this week 20th/21st but will be CLOSED on Saturday and Sunday as we are off on a family camping trip to Thetford. Normal service resumed the week after.

Look forward to seeing you later this week however you find us :)
