Then it’s time to pack for the fair (Ardingly Antiques Fair) which is on Tuesday & Wednesday next week.
It’s the last one of the year & a fantastic day out if you want to come and find some treasure.
You’ll be able to find me in the shopping arcade, number 13.

Another lovely old shop/display cabinet.
This one in unwaxed antique pine, cleverly, this one has an opening lid, allowing the front glass to be slid up to access the items within.

An unusual late 19thC velvet covered corner etagere/shelf with spindle legs and studded edging.

Original velvet shelf covering, you can just still see the beautiful original leaf pattern decoration on this fabric.
Studwork all around the shelf edges.

An absolute little gem of a cabinet.
Old shop cabinet, opening doors to rear and sliding glass to front. Old painted price of ‘6d’ to arched top.
Pigeonhole display shelves, with printing to the rear of the shelves describing the product, maybe colours for products for an art shop. Some of the words include eau-de-nil, cherry, flesh, salmon, canary, sapphire and jade.
