I will be live on BBC Radio West Midlands 95.6 FM chatting to Adrian Goldberg THIS MORNING at 8.00am speaking about my grandad and searching for any remaining shipmates of H.M.S Keppel, tune in to listen and pass on the message!!

Thank you all so much for your love and support and sharing the previous post, I and my family are so overwhelmed. I never expected this to go as far as it has done to be honest, I thought I was aiming for a dead end.

Today is remembrance day, let us remember.

Below is my grandad, my hero, a 92 year old war veteran who said goodbye to his last known remaining ship mate Joe Bennett yesterday.

I am asking you to help my grandad find any possible remaining shipmates by sharing this. I see this happening all the time on social media and I don't know if any success ever comes out of it, but it's worth a shot.

His name is William Harry Busby (sometimes known as 'Brummie') born 30th July 1924 from Wolverhampton. He was in the Navy during the Second World War including PQ17 and The Arctic Convoys when he served on H.M.S Keppel.

We don't know if there are any remaining shipmates off the Keppel and I am hoping that through this we could maybe even just find one.
