Macramé Workshop

I’m excited to be collaborating with South West Art Courses in Sherborne for this macrame workshop.

Learning and practising macramé is great for more than just making something beautiful. The combination of learning new skills using our hands, concentrating and repeating rhythmic knots can be wonderfully absorbing and relaxing, while giving us that satisfying sense of achievement that comes from making something ourselves.

This workshop is held in small groups and provides an opportunity to learn the art of macramé or to further develop your skills. Participants will learn the process of macramé and make a useful macrame keyring and a wall hanging planter all from 100% recycled macramé cord from a colour of their choice. All materials included, plus coffee & tea. Please bring a packed lunch.

CHRISTMAS WORKSHOPS

The Christmas wreath workshop on Saturday 28 November is now fully booked. I still have spaces for the one on Thursday 26 November from 6.30pm at Henstridge and a few places left for the garland and Christmas decoration workshop, both in Templecombe.

To avoid disappointment please don’t leave it till the last minute to book, email me, Laura, at [email protected] or WhatsApp on 07969 993059 to reserve your place.

These workshops are one of my favourite times of the year, it definitely puts everyone into the Christmas spirit, and it’s lovely to see how many of you, your friends and family come back time and time again.

If you’ve been before, you’ll know how relaxed they are, with a party atmosphere, full of fun and my favourite part - that magical moment when you step back and admire your creation and are truly proud of it!

If you haven’t joined us yet you’re in for a treat! Don’t worry if you’re not the crafty type, I’ll guide you step by step, and I promise your wreath, garland or decoration will look amazing.

All foliage, decorations, materials and tools, plus hot and cold drinks and Christmas treats included in all of the workshops.

See the dates and times in the attached illustration.
