My favouritest board to have made so far. Working with such beautiful wood as Mappa Burl (poplar) is always fun.
Oh, the flames.
This is a commission for a barbecue-man by the name of ‘Chilly’, hence the engraving.
Chilly plans to keep this beside his bbq and use it to carve and serve all manor of smoky delights upon this board.
and although we’ve not met before, I have no doubt his barbecue flavours are as delicious as this wood is.
This took me far too long to complete and so I thank Mr Chilly for his faith and patience!
