Eight years today in our building on Cunningham Road, and running my own business since 2015… what a ride it’s been! 🤍
Anyone with their own business knows the challenges we face daily just to keep going. Some days you could quite happily throw in the towel. I often say it’s a bipolar business….you can be whooping it up one minute and letting out a huge “FFS!” the next! 😂
But there’s something that keeps us going. For me, it’s making clients happy and knowing they love their homes. That wee cuddle when someone says, “Thank you, I absolutely love it” that’s what makes it all worthwhile.
The building was a complete riot when we bought it, and thank goodness Greig had the joinery skills, vision and patience to help turn it into what it is today. I still love seeing people walk into what they think is a wee hoose, only to discover a large showroom and working factory, where we take so much pride in everything we make and deliver.
This year has been something else. From nearly closing the doors in January to now being on course for one of our biggest turnovers since we started. It’s been emotional, exhausting but something I’m incredibly proud of.
Greig and I can now head off for a wee break knowing everything is in safe hands with our team, and that means so much.
To our team, our clients, and everyone who has recommended us, supported us or cheered us on. thank you. Behind every finished room is a whole lot of hard work, care and heart.
Eight years in this building, so many stories behind its doors, and hopefully plenty more still to come. 🤍
