The event space at 44 King Street is getting a bit of an upgrade this week so we're hosting our community meal downstairs tonight at the back of the shop.

To make life easier for us we'll just have one option for the main course - it's pasta with tomato and basil sauce for everyone! We'll have cheese, bruschetta and garlic bread on the side.

We start at 5.30 and serve food till 7pm with everyone heading home by 7.30. We're open to all residents of The Mercat Cross & City Centre.

We're going Mexican tomorrow with self serve rice bowls.

We've not decided on the cake yet so if anyone wants to put in a request just let us know.

Monday nights serving food from 5.30 to 7pm with everyone heading home for 7.30.

All residents of The Mercat Cross & City Centre are Welcome and tomorrow night we have Giselle from the Community Development Team popping in to talk to anyone who might be interested in restarting the community council - even if you don't want to eat feel free to ppp in and get more information - we have plenty of space!

We're going to roast some chickens this week and make a big pot of Moroccan bean stew!

The baked potatoes went down really well last week so we'll keep them on the menu for a while but we will also have bread for a wee toastie if you'd like something lighter.

We're open to all residents of The Mercat Cross & City Centre.

We serve food 5.30pm to 7pm and all head home for 7.30pm.

Haggis neeps and tattles tomorrow night at The Mercat Cross & City Centre community meal. We'll have a veggie option too for vegetarians.

We'll also have baked potatoes for those who'd rather not have haggis, we'll have baked beans and cheese to go with them.

Happy New Year to you!

We're back with the first of our community meals tomorrow Monday 5th January.

Primestreetfood have donated a mini mountain of bao buns to us which we're serving tomorrow with some delicious sticky ginger chicken and mushrooms with ginger and soy both of them will be served with vegetable noodles.

There will also be soup and cheese toasties for anyone wanting something lighter and as always if you have any food allergies or intolerances you can let us know in advance and we'll be happy to make something that suits you.

We're upstairs from the Made in Stirling store and all residents of The Mercat Cross & City Centre are welcome to join us. Food is served 5.30 till 7 and we all head home at 7.30pm

We're going for a pre Christmas curry buffet for the final meal of the year. Both curries will have gentle warming spices rather than full on heat but there will also be cheese toasties available for anyone who'd prefer.
