Energy Price Cap Set to Rise by 4% This October.

Following Ofgem’s latest announcement that the energy price cap will increase by 4% from October, the Stove Industry Association has highlighted the important role modern wood burning stoves can play in supporting household energy resilience, flexibility and consumer choice.

With the increase being driven predominantly by higher wholesale gas prices and continued volatility in global gas markets, having a secondary source of heating can give households greater flexibility over how and when they use other heating fuels.

As a supplier to the stove and heating industry, Flue & Ducting Ltd welcomes the SIA’s continued work to provide clear, evidence-led information and champion the role of modern wood burning stoves.

It was a pleasure to visit The Building Performance Hub this week and see first-hand the fantastic facilities and investment being made to support training and education across the heating industry.

We're proud that Flue & Ducting Ltd has supplied a range of products to help support the training environment, including our Carrington, Chadwick and Astbury stoves, along with Dura Twin Wall chimney systems and Dura Flue flexible flue liner.

It's great to see quality products being used to help train the next generation of installers and promote best practice throughout the industry.
