Hi all πŸ‘‹

Another busy week for our Autism Angels, making a difference both in clients' gardens and out in our local community! πŸ‘

The team have been out helping clients keep on top of their outdoor spaces, tackling important jobs like w**ding, grass cutting and general garden maintenance. It all takes time and effort, and our Angels have been putting in the work to help keep these spaces looking their best! 🌱

We've also been spending time at The Friends Meeting House in Norton, helping to improve their outdoor space and working towards creating a beautiful shared space where people can grow, come together and connect with others in the community πŸ’š

Our Angels love working alongside other local organisations and being able to use their skills to make a difference to the places and people around them. It's something we're really proud to be part of, and it's lovely to see the team helping bring these community spaces to life! 🀝

We also had a lovely addition to the team this week as we welcomed our newest Angel, Daniel! He's fitted right in, and we're really looking forward to seeing him develop his skills, try new things and grow in this brand-new service for him. Welcome to the team, Daniel! πŸ’™

A huge well done to all our Angels for everything they've put into this week. You should all be proud of yourselves!

Another garden looking lovely thanks to our Autism Angels! πŸ’™

This time, our Angels have been busy turning an overgrown garden into a fresh, tidy space, putting their gardening skills to good use to help out our clients. And what a difference they've made! 😍

Every job is a chance for our Angels to put their skills into practice, learn along the way, and make a positive difference for people in our local community πŸ› οΈ

Another job well done, Angels! πŸ‘

Evening everybody πŸ‘‹

Our Autism Angels have had a busy week, with a big focus on the Mandale Road planter, working alongside Jackie and the team at Ayresome Ward to get it ready for its next stage! 🌿

Our Angels got stuck into some seriously tough work, clearing the w**ds and removing around a tonne of soil to make room for the new w**d membrane and bark. It was no easy job, and we reckon our Angels deserve a medal for their efforts! πŸ…

With the membrane now down and 2.5 tonnes of bark added by the Ayresome Ward team, the planter is being prepared for the next stage. Next spring, it will be filled with lavender and other suitable, low-maintenance perennial plants, giving the area a lovely new look for the community to enjoy. We are so proud that our Angels are able to contribute to our local area in this way! 🌱

Alongside this big project, our Angels have continued helping clients in their gardens and keeping busy in the workshop, where preparations for Christmas are well underway! There's plenty to be getting on with, and we can't wait to share more of what they've been creating πŸͺš

A massive well done to all our Angels for the hard work they've put in this week, and a big thank you to Independent Cllr Jackie Young for Ayresome Ward and your team for working alongside us on this community project! πŸ’™

Good evening, all πŸ‘‹

This week, our Autism Angels have really been doing it all! πŸ› οΈ

From painting and woodwork to w**ding and grass cutting, the team have been out and about putting their practical skills to good use and getting stuck into all sorts of jobs πŸ‘

Our Angels have been busy in clients' gardens, helping to maintain their outdoor spaces and keeping everything looking neat and tidy. They've also been giving back to our local community, with the team getting to work on the Mandale planter and clearing out all the w**ds in preparation for the new w**d membrane and chipping to be put down 🌱

And that's not all! Back in the workshop, our Angels have been busy creating some brilliant handmade pieces for people to buy, putting their woodworking skills into practice and turning their ideas into something people can enjoy in their own homes and gardens πŸͺš

It's been a week full of different projects, new skills, teamwork and plenty of hard work, and we think they've done an absolutely cracking job! πŸ‘

Well done, Angels πŸ’™

On Sunday, Anna, Bev, Olivia and Paul P headed to Hardwick Hall for the BBC Tees Make a Difference Awards, where our Autism Angels were finalists for the Environmental Award πŸ‘

Being handpicked by the judges as one of just four finalists was a huge honour, and we were so proud to see the Angels recognised alongside three other incredible finalists: Great Ayton Allotment Group, Stuart White and Brian Johnston πŸ˜‡

The work our Angels do every single week deserves to be celebrated. From projects transforming gardens and helping people in our local community to creating, building and repairing things in our workshop, they put their skills, creativity and time into making a real difference. Behind every one of those projects is a team of Angels and support staff who work so hard to make it all happen. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you πŸ’™

A huge thank you to BBC Tees for interviewing us and some of our Angels, for sharing their stories and for making them part of such a special day. And thank you for hosting such a beautiful celebration of some of the best people, groups, and organisations doing incredible things across Teesside πŸ™

Days like this really do remind us how special our North East community is. There are so many people quietly getting on with making a difference every day, and it was an absolute privilege to spend the day celebrating alongside them ⭐️

To our Autism Angels and Angels staff: please know just how proud you should be of what you do. This nomination was recognition of the difference you are already making, and we couldn’t be prouder to call you our Angels ❀️

Thank you, BBC Tees, for making us part of it. What a day it was! ☺️

Hi all πŸ‘‹

Another busy week for our Autism Angels, with the team getting stuck into some fantastic projects both in the workshop and out in the community! πŸ‘

There has been lots happening in the workshop, with our Angels working together on some brilliant woodwork projects and seeing their creations really start to take shape. From measuring and building to putting the finishing touches together, they're developing practical skills while creating some amazing items as a team πŸͺš

And yes, we're still getting ready for our annual Autism Matters Christmas Fayre! The Angels have been busy making items that will be available at the fayre, giving everyone the chance to see the fantastic things they create while helping raise money for our charity. We can't wait to show you what they've been working on! πŸŽ„

Of course, there has also been plenty of work out in clients' gardens, with our Angels creating some incredible transformations. Make sure you check out the before-and-after photos to see the difference for yourself and all the hard work the Angels put into each project!

Another brilliant week of learning, teamwork, creativity and making a difference. Well done, Angels! πŸ’™

Our Autism Angels have been back out in the community, this time giving a client’s front garden hedge some well-deserved attention. They got stuck in trimming and shaping the hedge, leaving it looking lovely, neat and refreshed! πŸ’™

We love that this reel gives you a glimpse of the finished transformation, as well as showing you how our Angels put their learnt skills into action. From gardening and handyperson work to projects around our local community, every job is another opportunity for our Angels to learn, build skills and take pride in what they do πŸ› οΈ

And just look at that difference! 😍

A little garden project, a lot of hard work, and another brilliant result from our Autism Angels! πŸ‘

Ross and Morgan have been out working on a client's garden, putting their practical skills to work to create a lovely new feature in this space. They dug out and shaped the area, prepared the base, and then filled and finished it to create a fresh, tidy space that looks fantastic ⭐️

We love being able to show you a little bit of what goes into these projects too. It's not just about the finished result, but all the planning, physical work, problem-solving and teamwork that happens along the way 🀝

Our Angels get the chance to learn and develop real practical skills while helping clients in our local community, and we think Ross and Morgan have done an amazing job with this one! πŸ’™

Watch the reel to see them hard at work and our client's new garden feature come together πŸŽ₯
