Living with a Ragdoll 😂🐾

Basically a needy ball of fluff who follows you around like a dog, has no concept of personal space and somehow leaves half of himself on everything I own.

Wouldn’t have him any other way ❤️

Any other Ragdoll owners out there? What have I missed?

You spend years teaching them to do things for themselves… then one day they do. 🥹

Tomorrow he heads off on holiday without me for the first time, and I’m ridiculously proud of the young man he’s become.

Meanwhile, I’m still figuring out who I am in this next chapter. ❤️

Day 2 after the flare and it’s still really sore 😩
Eyes itching, face still swollen and sore, lips painful and the rash on my neck is coming back.

Still no idea what’s causing these reactions, but I’m hoping to get some answers soon. Has anyone else experienced anything like this during perimenopause/menopause?

Nobody warned me perimenopause could look like THIS… 😳

This started last year when I was going through a huge life change, and I genuinely thought the redness and reactions were grief and stress showing up on my face.

But they didn’t stop.

Since then I’ve had unexplained burning, itching, redness and swelling, even ending up in hospital when my face, eyes and lips swelled.

Yesterday it happened again at the hairdressers, despite using the same products as before.

I’m now learning that hormonal changes during perimenopause may affect how sensitive our skin can feel and react.

I’m sharing this because I had no idea. Has anyone else found their skin suddenly became much more reactive in perimenopause?

I spent years thinking I needed to find myself.
Maybe I already had.
Maybe the real work is learning not to leave myself whenever someone else becomes uncomfortable.

Up and out beautiful people! Happy Saturday!!

This weekend I’m making a pair of earrings or bracelet to gift away as a little act of gratitude and kindness.

If you’d like to be in with a chance of receiving them, just comment below and tell me one kind thing you’ve done for someone recently, or one small way you’d like to gift kindness forward.

I’ll pick someone at random later today xx

Double spiral bracelet with a beautiful sunstone bead. Sunstone carries a warm, radiant energy, often linked with joy, confidence and personal power. Its glowing tones evoke sunlight, bringing a sense of optimism, vitality and lightness. Many people are drawn to sunstone for encouragement during new beginnings, helping to lift self-belief and inspire action. It is also associated with abundance, positivity and embracing your own inner sparkle xx
