🏡 NEW BUILD PROJECT COMPLETED ✅

And that’s a wrap on this fantastic full house flooring project at Hafan y Glyn, Colwyn Bay 👌

This one has included a complete flooring package throughout the property:

🪵 65m² of Canopy Floors – Moors Oak 20/6mm Engineered Herringbone installed throughout the ground floor living areas and kitchen. Every individual piece has been fully bonded to the subfloor for a solid, secure and high-quality finish.

🏢 LVT flooring installed to the home office.

🏠 Cormar Carpets – Pembroke range in Woodash supplied and installed to the bedrooms, landing and stairs.

🏡 NEW BUILD PROJECT PROGRESS UPDATE

This one is really coming together now 👌

The stairs are now fully carpeted, and the engineered herringbone flooring downstairs is progressing nicely through the property.

There are still a few finishing touches to complete, but we’re on track for this project to be fully finished by tomorrow.

We’ll share the final result once everything is complete 👀

NEW BUILD PROJECT | DAYS 2 & 3 🏡

Now we’re starting to see this one take shape 👌

Following all the preparation work on Day 1, Days 2 & 3 saw the installation begin on 65m² of engineered herringbone flooring throughout the ground floor.

With herringbone, getting that initial set out right is key. Once those first lines are established, you can really start to see the pattern flow through the different rooms and open spaces of the house.

Upstairs, we’ve also been busy installing the WoodAsh Pembroke carpet, supplied by us, to the bedrooms and landing with the stairs still to be carpeted as the project progresses.

There’s still plenty to do, but it’s great to see the transformation starting to come together.

More progress to follow as we take this new build through to completion. 👀

🏡 FOLLOW ONE OF OUR NEW BUILD PROJECTS - DAY 1 🏡

We’ll be sharing this project from start to finish, so you can see exactly what goes into a proper flooring installation not just the finished result.

For this home, we’ll be installing 65m2 of 20/6mm engineered wood flooring throughout the downstairs, with 56m2 WoodAsh Pembroke carpet upstairs and on the stairs, all supplied by KL Flooring & Interiors.

Today was all about getting the subfloor properly prepared before the new flooring goes down.

✅ Skirting boards and kitchen kick boards removed
✅ Subfloor thoroughly cleaned
✅ DPM applied
✅ Screed applied to create a smooth, level surface ready for installation

Tomorrow we’ll be setting the floor out and starting the installation. 👀
