A little something is coming together behind the scenes ✨

The measuring, the pouring, the finishing touches. All the little details that slowly turn an idea into something real.

November’s Subs Club is taking shape, and we’re keeping a few things to ourselves for just a little longer.

More to come soon 🖤

November gathers around the warmth.

There’s something about this time of year that makes being home feel that little bit more special.

The days grow shorter. The kitchen becomes the heart of the home. Something sweet is baking in the oven, the fire is crackling nearby and the first little signs of Christmas begin to appear.

For November’s Subs Club, we’ve taken inspiration from those familiar rituals that make the colder months feel so comforting.

A collection built around the warmth of home, the richness of something freshly baked and the memories made in between.

Your first look at November’s Subs Club.

The scent stories coming soon 🖤

Well, what an absolutely MISERABLE day outside today has been 🌧️

Freezing cold, pouring with rain, windy enough to blow you halfway down the High Street, and the kind of weather that makes you want to stay firmly tucked up at home.

And yet, despite all of that, we’ve had such a lovely Saturday at TWB 🥹

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single person who braved the weather to come and visit us today. Whether you popped in for a candle, picked up a few early Christmas presents, or just came to have a little wander and a chat, we’re so grateful.

And an equally huge thank you to everyone who placed an order online today too. It genuinely means so much to us that you continue to choose to support our little business, especially when there are so many places you could choose to shop.

We’ve just finished another lovely Candle Making Workshop this evening, which means the doors are finally closed, the lights are off, and another Saturday at TWB is officially done.

Now it’s time to head home, get into something comfy, light a candle of my own and do absolutely nothing until bedtime 😴🕯️

Thank you for another gorgeous day, even if the weather was anything but.

Lots of love from all of us at TWB 🖤

Pumpkins glow from crooked smiles, candlelight flickering against carved edges as October settles in outside. Warm spice hangs in the air, apples bake somewhere nearby, and dark fruit brings a rich, juicy sweetness to the night. Shadows stretch across the windows, warm light spills into the street, and everything feels buttery, golden and just a little bit wicked. Pumpkin spice after dark. Nostalgic, comforting and made for the season of things that go bump in the night.

Finally home and the outside world is getting a little quieter.

I love this part of the day. When the noise begins to fade, the evening slows, and for a little while, there’s nowhere else we need to be.

Just the warmth of home, OoOoud burning, and the lovely feeling of shutting the rest of the world out.

And by shutting the world out, we obviously mean getting into our comfies and preparing to spend the evening glued to the tv because The Traitors is back on tonight 🤣

A little light for these darker evenings… 🕯️

There’s something about this time of year when lighting a candle becomes less of an occasional treat and more of an evening ritual.

The curtains are drawn a little earlier, the temperature’s dropping, and the moment you strike a match, the whole atmosphere of a room begins to change.

Tonight’s scent of choice? Baby It’s Cold Outside.

Inspired by the stillness of a winter woodland, with crisp, cool notes, a delicate whisper of pine and that unmistakable feeling of cold air meeting the warmth of home.

Fresh, atmospheric and beautifully comforting. A scent that somehow makes the colder months feel like something to look forward to.

And on a Wednesday evening, halfway through another busy week, we think that’s exactly what home should feel like.

What’s burning in your home tonight? ✨

The scent that surprised us the most in almost six years of The Wandering Bee ✨

And not necessarily for the reasons you might think.

When we first created Inkwell, we knew we were taking a bit of a creative risk. After all, how many people would genuinely say they wanted their home to smell like an inkpot? 🤣

But that was precisely why we wanted to make it.

Inkwell felt like our creative flag in the ground. A little declaration of the kind of fragrance house we wanted to become, the boundaries we were willing to push and the belief that home fragrance could be so much more than the familiar scents we’ve all come to expect.

We weren’t creating it because we thought it would be commercially successful. We created it because we believed we could take something unusual, interpret it through fragrance and make it smell absolutely beautiful.

And then you surprised us.

Inkwell became one of our most requested scents, eventually earning its permanent place in our Core Collection.

But perhaps the biggest surprise was realising just how much we’d evolved ourselves.

Three, four, five years ago, we might never have considered creating something like this. Today, it’s exactly the kind of fragrance we’re most excited to explore.

Layered, complex, unexpected and full of character.

Because we’re not just interested in creating scents people already know they want.

We’re interested in creating scents they might never have imagined wanting.

And I think Inkwell will always be a little reminder of that 🖤

A little Tuesday evening photo dump because today has been one of those days 🤣🖤

The kind where you feel like you’ve done nothing and about three days’ worth of work in one, and you’ve also spent all of it laughing.

We spent pretty much the entire morning smelling, discussing, debating (and occasionally disagreeing 🤣) over what our Core Collection is going to look like in 2027.

And let me tell you, there are some CHANGES coming.

Some scents are staying, some are going, and there are a few new additions that I’m already ridiculously excited about. But that’s all you’re getting out of me for now 🤫

Then this afternoon was spent working on November’s Subs Club. More smelling, more discussing, lots of designing, creating and trying to bring the ideas we’ve had floating around in our heads to life.

And THEN, because apparently that wasn’t enough for one Tuesday, we finished the day with a Candle Making Workshop this evening.

Which actually turned into a little unofficial focus group because we ended up getting everyone involved in our 2027 Core Collection discussions too 🤭

Honestly, one of my favourite things about doing what we do is that we get to have these conversations with the people who actually burn our candles. Your opinions genuinely matter to us, and sometimes you guys make us rethink things we’d been absolutely certain about.

Anyway, I’m now home, my brain is full of plans, scent notes, and I’ve got approximately 100 ideas I need to write down before I forget them.

Lots happening behind the scenes at TWB at the moment, and although I can’t tell you much just yet, I can tell you we’re having a VERY good time putting it all together.

And yes, we do actually get some work done between all the laughing. Promise 😜

Happy Tuesday evening!!! 🥰

A little something to look forward to after a Monday… 🕯️

Because let’s face it, when it’s grey outside, the evenings are getting darker and the temperature is dropping, getting home after a long day feels particularly lovely.

Shoes off. Comfy clothes on. Dinner in the oven. Your favourite candle burning while the rest of the world carries on outside.

It’s the little rituals that make this time of year feel so special, and we’re firm believers that coming home should be one of the nicest parts of your day.

Whether you’re reaching for the familiar comfort of Antique Bookshop, the freshly baked sweetness of Apple Pie Season, or the smoky, autumnal notes of Sugar & Soot, there’s a TWB scent waiting to make your evenings feel that little bit lovelier.

And if you’ve been meaning to stock up for the colder months, consider this your Monday reminder.

Our candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and more are all available to shop online, ready to bring a little autumn atmosphere into your home.

A little something to look forward to, delivered straight to your door.
