From a stunning wedding dress to a beautiful bear and a cushion. I absolutely loved creating these 2 but I was also a little nervous. This is the first time I have ever cut up a wedding dress and it felt a little bit scary but I am delighted with how these 2 keepsakes turned out. ❤️
This is a lovely way to keep those special memories alive from one of the most important days in your life. How many wedding dresses are tucked away in a suitcase up in a loft (mine included) ? I fully intend to turn my wedding dress into a special keepsake when I can find the time 🤣.

📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 💜☂️

I’m looking for a some lovely people to help represent Pride of Neurodiversity (PoN) at the Celebrate Aberdeen Parade on Saturday 29th August! 🥰🌈

I was so excited to have PoN taking part again this year… and then realised I’ve managed to double book myself! 🙈😂 I’ll be at the PoN pop-up in Union Square that weekend, so I need some wonderful volunteers to fly the PoN flag for me!

I’m looking for people who would be happy to walk together in the parade and carry the PoN banner, helping us share our message of neurodiversity, inclusion and Turning Grey into Bright. 💜🩷🩵

⏰ Meet at 10am – parade starts at 11am
📍 Aberdeen city centre

You don’t need any experience — just come along, have fun, wear some PoN tartan if you have it and help us make a little noise for neurodiversity! 🥰☂️

This Mascot for the city of Aberdeen pipe band has been on his travels again! This time he is in Dunoon visiting the Cowal Gathering 2026. We popped into this shop and when I saw this highland coo we absolutely had to have a selfie with Hamish from Doon the Watter shop. Now best friends 😂 🐮🐮

How exciting is this Jackie Bird who I am sure you will have all seen on the telly! She’s the presenter for the world pipe band championships, works for BBC Scotland and is often presenting programmes on New Years Eve. Jackie is holding the mascot for the City of Aberdeen pipe band which I made!!! I wasn’t at the championships but Linda very kindly took the mascot and got photos of him and asked Jackie for a photo with my heilin coo. 🐮🎶

I’m soo excited to show you all this bear. This keepsake was created from this beautiful outfit that was worn by a much loved and missed granny.
She wore it to the wedding of her granddaughter and so it holds special memories of a lovely day.
I wasn’t sure if I could sew a little replica jacket for the bear but I was willing to give it a go and I’m delighted with the results.
How many wedding outfits are hanging in a wardrobe just gathering dust? I can create a cherished keepsake from those outfits and turn them into something you can be proud to display and give a cuddle to when needed. ❤️🧸🐶🐰🐮
