Yesterday my trader neighbour Katie of Loch Sealg Designs (awesome unique jewellery) said "You should leave some unfinished"
So I put a few ragged, shaggy Hebridean Hearts out.
I can't unfinish a finessed Fooyaks shape but I can finsh an unfinished one. 5 minutes later I had my second (and final) customer of the day AIDABella cruise ship didn't make it to port.
Unexpectedly back in the Town Hall for half the day today until 2pm. Today is supporting the Western Isles Lottery.

Rebranded Fooyaks have my first outing back at Stornoway town hall today, tomorrow & Friday.
Queen Anne cruise ship is in today so over 3000 potential guests mostly looking for somewhere to sit and pooh and maybe buy a souvenir or 2.

It was fantastic to quietly launch Fooyaks as a brand at HebCelt 2026, exactly a year after I first sold a tweed orb.

My Hebridean Hearts didn't even exist then, and they've slowly become the top Fooyaks seller.

I actually had to have a little cry when two customers told me why they were buying one. It was all about love and remembrance.

The 200+ free moustaches were the surprise hit of the weekend, tho and I was amused to see all the different people making good use of the...

I caught up with loads of old friends, made some new ones, and even managed to sneak away from the Craft Village a few times to catch some tunes.

I've just bought a Thursday ticket for Belladrum to have a wee look around, do a recce. Who knows? Maybe the Hebridean Hearts will make it to the Tartan Heart Festival next year.

I definitely plan to be back at HebCelt 2027 with new Fooyaks shapes... and possibly the moustaches - according to my glamorous Saturday assistant Kellyn Hazel-McGown they're ackchewly re-usable with eyelash glue so fit with the whole sustainability thing. She's a make-up artist doncha know so I'll take her word for it!

Lots of Fooyaks Hebridean love x

No damage was caused to the King's Baton when the Fooyaks factory popped up at Perceval Square today for BBC ALBA live broadcast with some of tonight's HebCelt acts.

If hundreds of people are suddenly coincidentally sporting a moustache at HebCelt fest the day Stephen Libby carries the King's Baton along with the Stornoway Pipe band marching to grandly open this years festival at 1645 from Porters Lodge....
its nothing to do with me x
