Really enjoyed updating these two helm seat cushions for a client’s boat.

One was a straightforward box cushion, while the shaped back cushion was a little more complex, a challenge I absolutely loved working on. Replacing the dated patterned fabric with a soft light grey wool has given the whole space a much smarter, more contemporary feel.

It looks beautiful back on the boat.

Who says your camper can’t be glamorous? ✨

These captain seats and rock & roll bed were upholstered in a luxe velvet and blue vinyl combo chosen by the client, finished with detailed top stitching, added storage pockets and a custom sunglasses holder.

Proof that your van interior can be completely tailored to your style, the possibilities really are endless.

My client designed and built this stunning VW Crafter van conversion himself, including this clever seating area that transforms into an additional sleeping berth. The level of detail throughout the interior is next level.

He came to me with his cushion plans already in place, and I worked with him to advise on fabric choices and refine the cushion design, ensuring it matched the quality and feel of the rest of the build.

The fabric is ‘Zonda’ in Shingle a hard-wearing upholstery fabric that works perfectly in a campervan setting. Soft, practical, and contemporary in style.

I then made the bespoke cushion covers, along with a finishing scatter cushion, bringing his design to life and ensuring everything fit the space exactly as intended.

One of the things I really valued about this project was my client’s decision to work with someone local rather than choosing an off-the-shelf option. It meant we could fine-tune every detail and create something truly tailored to the van.

A recent collaboration with , who designed and made this stunning hallway piece.

The piece combines shelving, cupboards, shoe storage, and a bench with coat hanging space, all built as one. Soft lighting runs through the shelves, adding warmth and bringing the whole piece to life.

I was thrilled to be asked to make the seat pad using Saddle II, from which is a recycled leather created from offcuts from the shoe and bag industry and reworked into something soft, tactile, and beautifully aged. Finished with diamond stitching and hand-buttoned detailing.

It was such a pleasure to be part of this project.

When my clients couldn’t find bar stools that felt right for their new kitchen, they were open to thinking differently and to giving something secondhand a new lease of life.

Working alongside such thoughtful collaborators made the whole process even more rewarding, and a huge credit goes to Munson Builders for the beautifully executed renovation. The kitchen is a calm, considered space, and these stools now feel completely at home within it.

Combining two lovely fabrics from and , here’s the proof that with a little imagination, secondhand furniture can be reworked into something truly bespoke.

This sofa has been on the boat since it was built around 30 years ago, and while the frame still fits the space perfectly, the upholstery had definitely had its day. The buttoned seats (most of the buttons had popped off) and the boxy foam back cushions never really suited the beautiful curves of the frames or the joinery on board.

I suggested a softer redesign, and my client loved the idea.

With three sections spanning over five metres, every part was a different shape, so there was plenty of templating and pattern making involved.

The new fibre-filled back cushions follow the curve of the sofa and the boat, with fewer buttons and calmer lines.

The delivery of this sofa was definitely filled with jeopardy and I’m very relieved to say that it’s now safely back on board 😅. A special thanks to my brave delivery team.

🌈 Joy stitched into fabric 🌈

When I spotted this vibrant fabric by in a summer sale, the colours instantly lifted my spirits and made me smile. I snapped it up immediately and I knew it would one day become something special for my home.

For the past decade, Lee from VolksMagic has organized an annual raffle and toy drive to support struggling families at Christmas. Each year, his team along with other businesses create an amazing VW prize, raising funds and collecting toys for those in need.
