Vintage Damascus Marquetry Visiting / Calling Card Holder – Mother of Pearl Inlay

A beautiful antique Damascus marquetry visiting card holder, intricately handcrafted with traditional geometric parquetry and delicate mother-of-pearl inlay.

Dating approximately from the late 19th to early 20th century, this lovely little piece was designed as a gentleman’s pocket accessory for carrying visiting or calling cards.

The outer sleeve slides away to reveal a shallow wooden inner tray, with wonderful detailed decoration to both sides.

Edwardian Leather Patent Visiting Card Case c.1900–1915

A handsome Edwardian gentleman’s leather visiting card case with original gilt-tooled decoration and patented spring opening mechanism stamped BREVETÉ. The interior retains its original burgundy and green leather lining with a pocket marked “VISIT” for calling cards, together with a second compartment for correspondence or notes.

A wonderful example of early 20th-century gentleman’s personal accessories, displaying excellent craftsmanship and rich aged patina. An ideal piece for collectors of antique leather goods, desk accessories or social history.

Edwardian Dark Green Leather Calling Card Case with Original Protective Slip Cover
Circa 1900–1920

Description

A handsome Edwardian gentleman’s calling card case in beautifully aged dark bottle green grained leather, complete with its original matching protective slip cover. The case is decorated with elegant gilt-tooled borders and retains a wonderful mellow patina developed over more than a century. Originally designed for carrying visiting cards, calling cards or folded banknotes, it is both practical and beautifully understated.

Vintage Edwardian Leather Coin Purse with 925 Silver Mounts

A gorgeous little antique leather coin purse, full of character and beautifully aged.

Dating from approximately 1900–1920, the purse is made from rich dark brown crocodile-effect leather and features decorative 925 silver corner mounts and clasp, beautifully engraved with foliate detailing.

The clasp bears an attractive intertwined monogram, believed to be the original owner’s initials, giving this piece a lovely glimpse into its past.

Inside, the purse opens to reveal multiple concertina-style compartments, originally designed for coins and small items.

Early 20th-century leather card holder or cigarette case with:

* Richly embossed and gilt Art Nouveau/Art Deco decoration
* Brass frame and clasp
* Original teal and black leather interior
* Two internal pockets for calling cards, notes or ci******es
* Attractive marbled leather finish

The condition is good overall, but there is some wear to the corners and edges, which is to be expected. The interior also shows some age-related marks but appears complete.

Vintage Miniature Silver-Tone Tea & Coffee Service on Tray just under 6 inches in length

A gorgeous little vintage miniature tea and coffee set, beautifully detailed and full of old-fashioned charm.

The set includes:

• Tall coffee pot
• Teapot
• Lidded sugar bowl
• Milk/cream jug
• Ornate serving tray

Each piece has decorative fluted and beaded detailing with shaped handles and matching domed lids. The long serving tray has an embossed patterned centre, decorative edging and pierced handles.

Please note: this is not solid silver and is being sold as a silver-coloured/base-metal decorative set.

A lovely little display piece for a vintage cabinet, dolls’ house collection, miniature collection or simply as a quirky decorative accessory.
