SILK PAINTING

These are beautiful pre drawn pictures, add some spectacular colours to create beautiful cards and gifts .. either pop it in one of the cards provided or into a frame of your choice. This is so satisfying no matter where you are on your crafting journey.

This is suitable for beginners or those more experienced. You'll leave with at least 2 finished silk painting in cards, which can also be decorated in class too. There's a selection of designs, including seasonal designs available should you wish

A new adventure ! A new craft to enjoy.. Junk Journals! Its a great way to express yourself and be free! Make pages from newspapers, stamps, stickers magazines, quotes and colours. An opertunity for your imagination to run riot ! These are just a few pages from journal in progress, including a Halloween page.

Sooo... here goes..

Random acts of kindness.. a simple idea with enormous effect.

I'm going to be posting each day, to challenge us all to think, just marginally, out side our own perspective. Some tasks you might already do.. others, you might ne more challanging, and have to adapt.

An example ...
*on the road, in traffic, let 2 people in on your journey to work
* ask someone how they feel...(not if their ok)
* give 2 compliments to strangers
* Actively listen to someone. Don't interrupt.
*tell someone your proud of them

One simple kind act, can change someones day. If thats picking up litter or helping someone to a seat.
Its not being kind thats the difficult bit, but finding the opportunity. So keep looking... little by little, we become better people..

Our Friends of the Foyer had a fun time on Wednesday making these beautiful pipe cleaner flowers. It was described as very enjoyable and relaxing and were led in the session by Shirley of Inspire Crafts.

Please please let's highlight this wonderful group that meet at stourport. The Civic is a warm, kind space for all members of our community to find friendship and warm, and a safe space. After spending time with them, the value of this group is beyond words.
