And a great friend to us since our humblest of beginnings at village hall events and fetes…..This side of Hayley’s has grown sooo much in the last year it needed its own person to guide it.🥳

‘With a background in nursing and social support work, I bring a lot of experience in running welfare groups and using arts and crafts therapeutically.

I have my own mosaic business running workshops and selling my work through social media sites, craft galleries and craft markets.

I am very excited about bringing my experience to Hayley’s as I am in full admiration for the mission this little shop and community space is undertaking.

I feel so honoured to be part of the team

What a lovely workshop we’ve enjoyed this week at Hayley’s. The wreath mosaics are proving so popular I’ve organised another workshop for Thursday 11th December- spaces almost full already! Please message me or Hayley’s for more details if you’d like to join in the mosaic fun.
Now to get on and grout this festive lot.

Oh and yes I am that sad person with their decs up already! Difficult to resist the twinkling, sparkly lights when it’s dark and cold xx

Prepping for a mosaic wreath making workshop later this week. Worked out we’d need 300 petals cut but failed to also work out how long that would take. One minute a petal didn’t seem so bad until 5 hours later 😩 That will teach me 😳😆 Just thankful I didn’t leave it until the day 😅

Remember the hare I started back in March? I was excited to use the ceramic letters I made in pottery class but somehow failed to make any “O’s” ! Not to worry I think the vintage plate pattern came up trumps. What do you think?

*UPDATE* Hegerty and Hoot have found their forever home, new pastures, new country!
Please say hello 👋 to Hegerty the sunset witch and Hoot the owl. They are currently residing at Hayley’s in Williton but looking for a forever home.
Hegerty is a gentle soul, happiest foraging in hedgerows, on the beach and in preloved shops and car boots. She loves colour and her favourite time of day is sunset when she takes to the skies along with Hoot. Her cloak matches the sunset, something she is very proud of as it makes her almost invisible to the human eye. She would hate to scare any onlookers with her flying antics.
Never one to miss the opportunity of a touch of sparkle she has pimped her broomstick 🧹 with golden thread and costume jewellery she once wore to the Witches Graduation Ball.
Although she loves the feel of floaty dresses they really aren’t practical on a broomstick- no one wants to see a double full moon 😳 Instead Hegerty wears palazzo trousers which she found in a wonderful preloved boutique. Also from the same shop is her Breton top keeping her warm and cozy when she’s flying high. She’s ever so grateful to Hayley’s 🛍️ for keeping her well kitted out in amazing preloved, local clothing. She is a green witch environmentally!
Finally she has a pair of Ruby slippers as every good witch should. These are super soft as have had several previous owners 🤔

Do pop along to Hayley’s to say hello, she is friendly and proudly occupying the window. Should you then decide to take her home she promises to be a very good houseguest and pay her way with an endless supply of good luck spells😘🧙‍♀️🦉🌈🌛🌕🌜

Thursday the 9th of October 10-2:30pm (so bring a sandwich!) Jax Glass has just 1 space left for pumpkin Mosaics. The cost is £35 for the 4.5 hours and all of the materials! 🥰🥰🥰

How quickly the seasons change! So much rain today ☔️ but I’ve still managed to do some grouting outdoors in between downpours. Have been playing with autumnal colours and lots if iridescent glass. Love how the light plays with these pieces, what do you think? 🎃🍁🌈🍂

EDIT - 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Thanks so much for all enquiries to purchase, I’m very touched and a little overwhelmed 🥰 These will be available from Hayley’s in Williton at the end of the month. The shop has tasked the crafters and artists for autumnal themes so it’s going to be very exciting. The preloved boutique will also be very well stocked so why not pop along.
