A holiday of two halves. This beautiful part of the world to which we have been returning every year throughout my life, that holds such a special place in my heart. All around us are habitats for so many animals and wildlife, some rare and all important. It is devastating to see their world wiped out in one raging incident. One careless moment that has lead to hundreds of people being impacted, and a landscape that has been decimated which will take decades to rebuild. Surely the time has come where we all wake up and decide to make some changes. This is the tipping point and I don’t want to sit back and watch from the sidelines anymore.
The bravery and community spirit I have seen being mobilised is inspiring. And if anyone wants to help a little, there is now a place where we can offer donations to help in the process of rebuilding this precious place. Go to link in bio if you feel moved to help. 💚🌿🌱🦔🕊️🪶🐝🪱

Open plan living has so many benefits, but one thing that can be tricky is zoning it with colour. Where to stop one colour and start another? Using soft tones and graduation to transition between one space and another is key in creating flow. Our little reading nook, carved out of a thoroughfare space, creates a moment for pause and reflection.
