Lovely to meet Alice Caroline | Sewing & Quilting when she popped in to the shop🙌🤩 yesterday.
Alice is based in Tewkesbury so almost a local. Did you know I stock some of her products? They are so beautiful and deserve a shout out. Gorgeous Liberty of London fabrics. Alice selects the best of old and new Liberty classics and puts them together into bundles, kits and scrap packs. A great way to get your crafty hands on a selection of these quality fabrics.

The autumn quilt kit is stunning. And have you seen her patchwork Sanda coat?👌

New workshop!!

Last Christmas Elli from Elli Beaven kindly offered to run a workshop in my opening week!
I remember being overwhelmed but so grateful. Looking back at the pictures I recognise people that attended that have continued to be great supporters this year🥰🥰🥰thank you!!!

Anyway, Elli is returning for this festive themed workshop. Hand-stitching patchwork stars using her beautiful plant dyed fabrics.

20th November 5.30-8pm lots of time for playing!!

So the Joa has arrived and is already selling fast...🙌🙌
It's a stunning wrap top that ties at the side and would work as a quilted piece or just a lined light denim. It's an extra layer, just like the waistcoat I'm wearing. Throw it over a dress or a shirt for another layer of warmth. Perfect for now.

Also got The Fabbrica as well as some new Style Arc patterns: the Nala's look like a great make. More restocks of Wardrobe By Me too.

Oof😍😍😍😍!
Can we show some appreciation for my new A frame sign. What a beauty she is. Nice chunky frame in black to replicate my swing sign. My logo getting a lovely treatment in gold. And a few words to let you all know what I do in here!
Hopefully, it will send more of you through the doors. It would be crazy to walk past!!

New knit/stretch fabrics! Don't be scared to try sewing with a stretch fabric.
So fun and exactly what I want to be wearing as layers at this time of year.

Just finished my "make friends with your sewing machine" workshop, which was so fun. Lovely to see everyone getting excited about the possibilities of sewing!! Thanks for coming!!
I thought I'd share how I manage to change the shop over so it's ready for a workshop. I don't have lots of space so it all gets tucked away. I've got quite quick at the process now.
I do sometimes hide things away so well that I forget they are there....
Oh and then I have to put it all out again!! 😫
