To make way for a new range of recliner chairs we first need to sell a few ex display items, all prices are on pictures and are sold as seen but in all honestly they’re very well looked after in the shop so don’t have any marks or scuffs on them.

After an awful lot of man hours and cups of coffee our shop front is finally finished. As we’re a local independent retailer we obviously only used local independent trades to do the work. So, it’s had a full rebuild courtesy of james Hymas and Dennis, any carpentry work you ever need doing these guys are the guys to call! Then it was fully painted by lewis Hender and Harrison (HPS painting and decorating) and I must admit they’ve done a cracking job even when we had heatwaves thrown at us they still got a perfect finish. Then it was sign written by the beautiful guys at Auto Innovations Chris and Dan. As always they’ve done a flawless job, can’t recommend any of these guys enough.
I must say thank you to my amazing landlord Philip Richardson for trusting I’d look after his building and get everything done perfectly and letting me change the colour and alter the front slightly, if other landlords were a bit more like Philip the world would be a better place that’s for sure.

As a local independent retailer I like to use other independents where possible and my reason for this post is I needed 4 new tyres for my van, so, like I have many times before (last 34 years!) I used glemsford tyres, if you’re in need of tyres, punctures, wheel alignment or just advice I can’t say strongly enough that you need to go and see Jonny as he is the most helpful, polite and friendly guy you’ll meet, very honest too! (And dare I say it but cheaper than other options)

We’re currently having our shop front completely renovated and restored and today we’ve had 3 different names within 2 hours, I do love uncovering history.
