We installed this Floors by Lewis Abbott on this in - with Denim taped edges, sitting perfectly against the blue painted staircase. The customer is considering having Stairrods fitted for the finishing touch.

Hello everybody, hope you’re enjoying your weekend! Here’s one of our jobs from this week, for some lovely customers in Cleadon.
TLC - LVT slate parquet border, with Invictus Carpet and Flooring planks laid on a diagonal. And a lovely Victoria Design Floors - Distinctive Flooring carpet on the stairs and landing. Prepped using ARDEX UK smoothing compound and laid in Ardex heavy duty adhesive.

Our first book ‘The Drug Monster’ aims to help us as parents plant the seed and educate our children of the dangers of drugs.

If you have the luxury of thinking addicts are lowlife scum who chose their addiction, remember to thank your higher self that you have no idea what this life is like.

One thing you will never want to do is watch someone you love, who has fought so hard to beat addiction, throw everything away and sink back into a life that will most likely lead to prison or death. You want to grab them and shake them and scream, "What are you doing?!?!" but, at some point, you realise it wouldn't make a bit of difference. So, you sit back and watch the tragedy unfold, as if you are watching a movie.

Feeling helpless to stop it, feeling like you haven't done enough to help, even though you know, only the addict can help themselves. Battling addiction is a beast for the person addicted and for the ones who love them. l am asking you to stand with me in hope of a better tomorrow for every family member, loved one, and friend who has lost or is losing their battle with drugs and alcohol and for those who continue their battle, to conquer it!

We at Smile have a hell of a battle against us but fight we will and to break this drug addiction pandemic we need to start from an early age to plant the seed into our children about the dangers are of ever trying a drug. We need to instil the fear into them so that they think twice about it, the same as we teach them how to cross a road safely. It’s down to us as parents and teachers to educate our children. As much as it’s an uncomfortable topic, it’s only when we do this, we have a chance of killing this drug monster.

Book available now at £6.99 and all profits will go to the foundation which is helping those affected by drug addiction whether that be those suffering with the disease or loved ones.
