I've received such a lovely review today for one of my Little Birds with a Message from Lindsay over at Resin Nature Garden (over on Instagram). The message she chose was 'Choose Hope' and she purchased for herself as a gentle reminder to always Choose Hope.

Let's be real here for a moment. One thing I don't often talk about is how having ADHD landed me in a miserable pit of debt 10 years ago when I hit the mid point of menopause. The disappearance of Estrogen dragged the last drops of Dopamine down with it. Result - ADHD raged loud & complete Executive Dysfunction wreaked havoc. The result of it chipping away at me eventually landed me in Debt & I'm still folding myself out of it years later.

So if anyone tells me 'ADHD is a Superpower' I tell them it's a 'blessing & a curse'. The blessing enabled me to hyperfocus & hone my origami skills - but the curse created the debt. Hindesight & diagnoses is a wonderful thing , but it all came 8 years too late.
Dont get me wrong, I love my job - I get to do what I love every day, I'm very lucky & bloody blessed to have such a lovely supportive husband - but bloody hell it's not a bed of roses for us late diagnosed women. But there it is.
