I have some exciting news, there's a possibility that I might have a couple exhibitions in the local area this year in addition to Swindon Open Studios, where I'll be exhibiting in the studio at Stanton Park. I'll keep you updated, as I'd love to meet some of my followers.

Speaking of followers... thank you so much for following me, your kind comments and 'likes' mean the world.

In the process of drawing a gnarled old tree in Lydiard Park. I walked past it early one morning and couldn’t resist the challenge!

This will be my second Lydiard Park painting.

Absolutely thrilled to get some feedback this morning. My original pencil drawing of The Plough in Ashton Keynes was sold and gifted to a former landlord, who ran this lovely old pub in the early 80s.

He’s delighted with his gift which is now framed and hanging in his home. A reminder of good times behind the bar! 🍻

Just walked past the front of Lydiard House. The windows didn’t have any reflections as in my painting. I must have been very lucky when I took the photo 2-years ago. The park and the lake looked fantastic though in the evening sunshine.

This just popped up in my feed, my painting of a photograph by Gary Boyle. They were displayed side-by-side at a joint exhibition at Stanton Barn last year as we thought visitors might be interested. They weren’t, but you have to try these things! 🤣

Just completed another complicated sketch of my Marlborough commission, because I can’t decide whether to do it in monochrome or colour. The colour version is practically complete, but I love the striking contrast of black, white and greys, particularly with urban art.

Ready to add inks and some watercolour!
