When we say we don't take on work that has been previously painted, this is generally why. I've so far spent my morning stripping back an emulsion job that looks like it was applied with a catapult 😵‍💫

Thankfully this is something out of our storage and not belonging to a customer. Will soon have it feeling better 😁

What other colour could I put with Ballet Slippers than the beautiful Tutu?

The amazing Vintage with Grace Mineral paint colours with an elegant redesign by prima stencil going round both sides, all finished with white wax. New ceramic white pulls have been added to complete. Isn't she pretty? 😍

Hope it's not too crazy where you are this morning 🌬🌪The wheelie bin is still where we left it so I'm taking that as a good sign for now!

We have had a really busy couple of weeks at The Vintage Vault - Tamworth which is fantastic after a quiet January. We've collected lots of new stock, met new customers and booked in some more commission work. Thanks for keeping us on our toes :)

Solid oak sideboard painted in Vintage with Grace Mineral paint in Barley Mow, lightly distressed and sealed with clear wax.
Pictures make it look smaller than it is.

Is it the weekend yet? 👀

We've had a busy week collecting more stock and organising the showroom between painting and we have a few more collections booked in. Lucky we have a container for back up storage 😬

There's an album posted on our other page The Vintage Vault - Tamworth (tagged further down) and we'll be adding lots more furniture to it available for commission.

Newly refinished are these ⬇️ Stag minstrel set of three over two drawers painted in a deep navy and sealed in dead flat.

I'm not a big fan of the original stag handles so they've been changed this time for a more contemporary round brass style. I think she looks classy 👌
