Finished this bag today. It’s made in a beautifully soft faux suede and has a large attached pouch for security and a large zipped pocket on back wall. It can be used with the grab handles or the detachable crossbody strap. I love the autumnal feel to this bag. The original design is by Spencer Ogg.

After all the hand finishing, I spent yesterday evening doing a little stitch and flipping! Made it into a pouch this afternoon. I do love a pouch - very handy for keeping all sorts of things in.

Over the last week or two, while the weather was so hot, I found myself flitting from one thing to another so consequently I had lots of things at various stages of making and nothing actually finished! Did you know a group of ducks can be called a waddle? Seems appropriate. May I introduce my waddle of Christmas ducks, all stuffed and just waiting for the hand stitching and decoration to be done. Of course they will all need names - any ideas?

I think I should be called Butterfly Crafts rather than LadyBird Crafts as the last few days I’ve been flitting from one thing to another! Today I have finally finished my Christmas bows - they are reversible and quilted. The last photo shows how they lay flat for storage. Do you think they will be popular and how many more should I make? Today I will be mainly stuffing ducks - or at least that’s the plan!
