Yesterday I spent part of the morning trimming a neighbour's sycamore tree. I took the larger pieces of the tree in payment for the work; fair exchange being payment. Today I spent some hours converting the timber into rough-turned bowls. These will be stored covered in their own damp shavings for a couple of months so they don't dry out too quickly. Then dried through the year and then re-turned to their final shape and finished ready to sell.
