I wanted to have some pretty photos to post of stock that will be for sale, but life has a way of corrupting my plans.

This week has been all about the Brother Scan N Cut, and learning to master the software. I think we may have finally got there and later im excited to try and use it to cut fabric!!

In the mean time here a video of me scanning in a pattern 🤣

I am looking forward on 31st Oct as I booked a stall this week

Part of being 'well' both physically and mentally means understanding my body and reacting to situations.

I have learnt my life will never be quiet and still and predictable and the way to cope with this is by being very aware of what is goimg on for me.

This week has been a write off, stupid cat got attacked by dog last week and caused alk sorts of stress, little sod escaped 7 times over weekend alone. Lickily I ha e the best neighbours but it has meant my body has been under stress ans so as my body does it let's me know w8th a lovely MCAS attack.

Cue having to cancel lots of plans, advocating at docs for steriods to calm system down and dealing with that.

Not got any sewing done yet this week, but my overall wellness is by far more important. Chronic health sucks and research shows depression often comes hand in hand but understanding your body and soul helps keep that balance

Part of wellbeing for me is having the self esteem and self confidence to try new things and not be afraid of failing.

Back in march at Kingfisher stitchy retreat someone showed me a you tube of the awesome gadget from clover and this stuff called jelly rolls. At a show at Westpoint Exeter i met the amazing Thie veg quilting ladies and bought the stuff and it sat there.

Couple of days ago i saw the amazing Kirsty from Kirstys handmade creations witches hat and bought the pattern.

This is my first quick attempt, its not perfect, far from, will unpick and try again but I will get there and I will learn a new craft

Super excited for my Visage textiles delivery few days ago. I adore Camalot fabrics and am looking forward to making Christmas items with these.

Will also be selling fabric as fat quarters and metres for customers too
