🌟WE NEED YOU🌟...

There's no two ways around it, this has been the toughest year that many retailers have faced. Many have closed their doors for the final time. The world is incredibly complex right now and that insecurity is playing out in the finances of most families in the UK and local high streets are really, genuinely struggling to remain viable.

So, we are asking for guidance and honesty. We would love you to let us know which of our products are your favourites, which would you like to continue to see, is there anything that you would love us to make/sell that we haven't already? What are you most likely to purchase going forward? Could we do anything differently?

Also please, please if you follow us, please continue to like, comment or share on posts. It may feel so pointless to you but it genuinely helps our reach and helps us to be seen in the increasingly difficult algorithms of social media. We can't do it without you!

Broken jewellery art... what is it and how did we start to make it?

I am a Magpie. I admit it, I own it. I am a collector of sparkles and things that shine. The sad thing about a jewellery addiction though, is the tarnishing, the breakage, the bits that you used to love but then they just sat in your trinket box like the old forgotten toys from Toy Story!

When my children were little, I craved a bit of me-time. I wanted to do something that didn't involve anyone wanting or needing anything from me and I happened upon some jewellery art on Pinterest and through trial and error figured out how to use the sparkles and broken pieces, that would otherwise have been thrown in the bin, destined for landfill, to create shiny little bits of art to brighten up the darkest of walls! Is it for everyone? Absolutely not but then art never is! That's the real beauty of it... it speaks to the person that it was meant for and that is exactly why I love it.

This beauty is based on the idea of 'The day of the dead' and candy skulls. Her name is Violetta and she has so much love to give to her perfect person but for now and until then, she will enjoy people watching from her shelf at the Nord stall and will sparkle & shine like the beautiful little diva that she is. ✨

With this one we have adapted the Japanese art of Kintsugi and enhanced it story with gold, which gives it the most amazing glow when switched on.
