Even if you don’t have any valuables to take come for a cuppa, cake and raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Please support this event if anyone can. Come and see how I will fill these ceramics and a larger terracotta pot in lovely Shropshire blooms which you’ll have a chance to take home with you.

Seasonal blooms - Aster - tastic!

You’re an aster-piece!
Still growing in my cutting patch.

I’m going to stop with the puns now!! Asters are daisy like flowers that apparently acts as a vital late-season food source for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. ✅

Lots of behind the scenes activity over the last week. My first week back after my 40th wedding anniversary break was gentle and definitely thought provoking once I shrugged off my holiday brain.

Seasonal flowers make us understand nature’s rythyms. Autumn flowers are just beautiful.

Halls - The Auction House in Battlefield is hosting a free fundraising event that combines antiques, flowers and cake, to raise money for Macmillan 🍰

Visitors can bring along antiques, jewellery, watches, coins, ceramics, art and other treasures for a free valuation, watch floral designer Caroline Hamps create beautiful arrangements, and enjoy coffee and cake while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

There’ll also be a raffle, with prizes including a family ticket to a Shrewsbury Town match 🎟️

The event is free to attend, with donations to Macmillan much appreciated. There’s also free parking on site.

Where creativity blossoms

The Potting Shed, Telford Flower school

Delivering small-group floristry workshops in a cottage garden setting in Telford.

A beautiful, intimate flower school where people come to learn, create and enjoy flowers to take home.

From teacher to floral designer — Caroline is teaching people to fall in love with using flowers to make a variety of arrangements for themselves.

Spaces available on both dates.

These are my last two of the year before winter wreath making workshops start.

𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫

This year I’m aiming to raise some funds via a raffle for:

• Severn Hospice
• MacMillan Cancer Support

Tickets are £2 each and all proceeds go directly to these charities.

The Hamper is worth £90 and comes in a beautiful botanical RHS box.

The draw will take place Saturday 19th December 5pm.

All you have to do, like I did last year, and it worked extremely well is:

1. WhatsApp me on 07415 889445 how many tickets you wish.

2. I will send ‘how to pay’ details. Once I’ve received your monies I will issue you ticket numbers.

3. You will receive your ticket numbers.

Join me for either of these workshops.

Seasonal blooms will be available for you to learn how to create a well crafted autumn hand tied bouquet.

I will teach the techniques to use over and over again. Flowers, tuition and your equipment for the session along with a cuppa or two. You will learn conditioning, spiralling and professional wrapping.
