Hello friends. Phew what a couple of weeks it has been! Daily Advents, 4 Sunday weekly advent, Christmas Eve boxes and monthly clubs have left the building🎉🎉
(Christmas Eve boxes are being dropped off in the morning)
To celebrate we dyded a load of stripes including a fun new colourway, roller disco 🛼🪩🕺

These will all go live on the website Sunday evening at 5pm, as well as a restock of sock sets🥰 but first

A day off!! We are taking a couple of days off, the first in a while. Hallmark Christmas will be activated❤️

As a very productive and creative week draws to an end we have loaded the shop and website with lots of new sock sets 🧦 as well as hat and shawl kits🧶

The crooner sock sets (slide 3 & 4) have been designed in collaboration with our friend Nancy who has generously offered a ravelry pattern code with each sock set.

Stay safe over the weekend with all the storms friends, a perfect weekend to cosy up with our crafting I reckon🙂

Good afternoon friends, it has finally turned chilly herbs today🎉 I had to wear my big coat and mittens in my early morning walk for the first time👏🙂

The penultimate secret Santa sock club and speckle and fade clubs will go on sale tomorrow afternoon. I have really enjoyed the clubs this year but now the planning starts for next year🥰

I join you this morning friends with a new project in my hook!!!! What😮 yep I am a crochet girlie👏

Thanks to inspiration and help from some lovely friends Kate and Clare I am making a jethro cardigan by Tanis Lavallee

I am loving the process and cannot wait for the finished cardigan. Have you made one? Do you want to make one?

Hello friends. We have had that most wonderful time the last 2 weekends spending time with lovely yarny folk at our woollay retreat. My happy cup is overflowing🥰

I have just got home and uploaded the website with all the new yarn 🎉 lots of Autumn and Christmas yarns to choose from 🎄🧑‍🎄🥰🥰

Hello hello! It’s a funny time of the year here, like so many of our fellow dyers when we are in the process of packaging advents ready for posting 🎉 we have however been dyeing lots of yarn for the shop and website……I am teasing slightly as these beauties won’t land online for a week or so as we like to have a nice full shop for the woollay retreat over the next couple of weekends.

First slide: mistletoe kisses 💋

Lots of good things to come, especially as we head into out 10th birthday celebrations 🥰

I’m not sure how many more washing line days there will of this yarn dyeing year. There is a special feel to both yarn and washing when it’s dried outside.

Toffee apple, Nordic forest and spiced apple sock sets will all be re-stocked tomorrow.

Happy Friday friends, from a rainy cool Shropshire🎉 Its time to showcase this months speckle and fade club, we are a few days late listing the clubs this months in part because its retreat season but mainly because I pulled my back and had to take a couple of days off work🫩

I am rather biased but I think this months yarn is pretty special, can you guess the inspiration? 🥰 well it is his birthday month after all.

✨✨The Speckle and fade club and Santa’s secret sock club are both now live on the website✨✨

I hope you have a nice weekend, we are going to see to Elvis at Shrewsbury Abbey with my beautiful mother in law, time to dust off my blue swede shoes💃

Good morning friends, it is a retreat weekend for us. The first of the Autumn season which is always a special time for us. A time when we get to connect with friends from previous years, put faces to names when meeting people for the first time and simply share the joy of yarn and yarn dyeing 🥰

The good news for our online shop is we always launch new collections and stock the shop with seasonal yarns so we will be having a shop update this Sunday at 7pm BST with all the self striping and autumn sock sets 🎉🎉 just a selection to show you here.
