Prep day for me on this bedroom. Sort out cracks, holes, mould areas around the window. Cleaning, sealing, filling & sanding day today.

My client wanted her Formica kitchen cabinets to be painted black as-well as her metal cabinet handles. Degreased all the surfaces to-be prepared, give a good fine sand down. Then applied a shellac BIN dark grey primer. Once all dried then applied two coats of Benjamin Moore scuff x (Matte black) she loves her new look of her kitchen cabinets.

This week I have worked on this room which is ready now for my clients little boy to go in. Making sure the lines are crisp and sharp. Walls and ceilings prepared and painted. Blue from beneath the window sill down leaving the rest of the walls a fresh white. The door, skirts, sill and frame have also been prepared and painted in a white satin finish.

This one was fun. A little job applying mural wallpaper on these door panels. Another happy client.

I always prepare myself with preparing doors. You never know what you will be dealing with. This door for example. Taking this layer off before I can actually start sanding. It’s like stripping wallpaper! 😆

As well as the physical aspect of my work. Sorting out quotes after work is a must too. It’s always handy to have a floor plan to work from and other measurements I needed on my recent quote visit. Just abit of maths needed to calculate each rooms paint quantities. 👍
