A productive morning after much procrastination 😂

I’m not feeling the garden clearing this year for some reason, so started gently by pricking out the Autumn sown stocks that were desperate for more space🌱

The last of the tomatoes 🍅have now been cleared with the help of the tomato monster Albie, who very quickly regretted his ingestion of so many, when they returned 😂

The mornings adventures were rounded off bycutting the last of the dahlias before the weather gets them 💨☔️

Have a good weekend, and don’t forget to order your handmade, bespoke Christmas wreath 🎄if you have not already done so! They are limited as all are individually hand crafted by us, using local ingredients and our own dried flowers ☺️

Loving all the Autumnal shades at the moment 🥰

There is a calming, winding down feel to the garden, the flowers are having their last hurrah, before the temperatures dip and the sun lessens.

Nature is guiding us slowly into the winter months, time to slow down and enjoy the simple things 😊 ☕️

We do still have some availability, but we are on borrowed time! 😂

Please like and follow us for news soon on our Christmas Wreath and table decoration availability this year🎄 yes, I did use the C word!

Have a good week

🌱A Change of Plan for Our Sweet Peas 🌱

The sweet pea rows have now been cleared, their once-lush growth sadly finished and rather desiccated after the heat.

Sweet peas are very thirsty and don’t cope well with hot weather 🥵. As our climate changes, we’re having to adapt what and how we grow.

They remain my favourite cut flower, but we also need to be realistic about the challenges of growing them in future years.

We’ll still sow sweet peas next year, but on a much smaller scale to help conserve our precious water supply 💧.

Gardening, after all, is about adapting, while still making space for the plants we love 💚.
