Log Burner Install in Brixham

22/09/2026

We were working in beautiful Brixham on this log burner installation and enjoyed the stunning views while we were there!

The top of the chimney stack was in poor condition, so we repaired and partially rebuilt it, fitted four new chimney pots and finished it with fresh flaunching.

Inside, we installed a slate hearth, brick slips, a non-combustible Geocast beam and a Derwent stove. A lot of work went into this one, but the finished result was worth it 😍🔥

🔥 Another lovely installation completed! 🔥

This twin-wall installation presented a few challenges, with delays caused by the unpredictable weather and the building schedule—through no fault of the builders. However, by working closely alongside both the builder and our client, we overcame the challenges and achieved this fantastic result.

The stove is an Ecosy+, which has the added advantage of requiring a minimum distance to combustible materials of just 50mm—making it a brilliant choice where space is limited.

We think the finished installation looks stunning, especially with the fire lit! 🔥
