Jacki’s design shows Durdle Dor in Dorset, one of her favourite places. Beautifully done!

It’s Flashback Friday!
What was going on in the studio a year ago?

Lou and her hummingbird, experiments in glass staining with a pen, a new stained glass piece depicting the ‘Nearly There Trees’ (if you know, you know), Hazel with her Bloom & Spin workshop, demo day with all sorts going on, Jenny’s new pebble pieces, lovely glass Club projects from Louise, and one of several charity workshops making copper foiled flowers in aid of Willen Hospice.

Who’s up for some messy adult play with fluid art?
Inexplicably there are two places available on this Sunday’s Fluid Art workshop with Hazel.

You’ll create two beautiful abstract paintings following Hazel’s guidance, with loads of vibrant colours to choose from and good fun vibes all round!

Big thanks to Gwyn for sending a pic of her finished Mirror Mosaic Garden art yesterday.
Gwyn has used the mosaic style we’re calling ‘Mosaic Nouveau’ (to be said in a pretentious faux-French manner)….

Much of the base mirror is left free to add light and reflections in the garden for a lovely shimmering result.

Great job Gwyn!

June is fast approaching, and with it the best art trail in Buckinghamshire - Bucks Art Weeks.

You can pick up a brochure at Vitreus Art and begin to make your own trail of which studios you would like to visit, you will be spoilt for choice!

A must visit is Brises Farmhouse, Nearton Road, Swanbourne, where we have a few lovely garden pieces on display, see attached image for details.

We’re delighted to have finished and handed over these two commissions - two different kinds of kites, destined for the same garden.

The pieces were commissioned to commemorate the loss of a loved one, taken much too soon.
