Halloween! Yes I have made some Halloween project bags and cutlery holders to go along with the stitch markers and keyrings 👻🎃👻🎃 These will go up on the Etsy shop tomorrow after we have put the poppers on the cutlery holders. The bag with the big pumpkins on will be sold as seconds as the sewing machine had a thread jam and caused a tuck in the lining 😭 still works brilliant but just not up to our usual standards!

Packaging up Naturally Dyed Yarn Advents and ran out of bags half way through 🤦🏼‍♀️ apparently I can't count! This year the yarn advent includes gifts from three local independent businesses which I am so excited about and can't wait to share these with you!

So I got my second jab yesterday and I'm feeling ... Less than perfect let's say but I thought I would share a post of our lovely Honey Bee Collection! Again this doesn't include all the yarns and cards that are in that collection but as soon as we get some consistent good weather I shall take some pictures and share those too! 🐝🐝🍯🍯🐝🐝

Oh wow so I realised it has been a very long time since I've posted so I thought I would show off some of our new keyrings! The day job has been eating up my time lately and I have lost my making mojo but I have a selection of Calico bags cut out ready to be sewn and dyed as soon as my inspiration returns. I have a few other things to upload to the shop so these will go up this afternoon

Taking the opportunity to rinse off and dry some of the yarns going in to my Naturally Dyed Yarn Advent Calendar in this lovely sunshine! The colours in this one are just amazing and I can't wait to share them with you after Christmas. All the yarns are dyed naturally using botanicals, barks and other natural dyes, rainwater is used in the dying process and an alum mordant was used.

Some beautiful mixed media bottles that are going up on the shop soon - as soon as I figure out postage costs 🤦🏼‍♀️! The big bottle is 28cm tall and 8cm wide. The small ones are all 15cm tall, 8cm wide. All are hand decorated with rice papers, paint, paper flowers and various embellishments. Perfect as room decoration as they are or you can put fairy lights in them to really make them pop! You can DM to order or they will be on the Etsy shop in the next few days!

Our story begins with my Great Grandmother, a dressmaker, knitter and crocheter. She passed on her love of craft to her granddaughter, my mother, and finally I caught the bug. My mother and I have spent have spent years with our own little craft obsessions with very little crossover. As time has gone on, however, we have discovered many new crafts in common and ways to combine our own favourite crafts together for beautiful and unique results.
