Richard III portrait replica; painted on a 14" x 11" sized canvas board.

Richard III was King of England from 26 June 1483 until his death in 1485. He was the last king of the Plantagenet dynasty and its cadet branch the House of York. His defeat and death at the Battle of Bosworth Field.

This portrait features the most loving detail I was able to replicate within my home in Cornwall and was a pleasure to paint!

Please note the portrait is demostrated in a frame here, but the frame is not included :)

Thomas Cromwell's "Book of Hours" Trinket Box

This is a uniquely decorated trinket box, dedicated to Thomas Cromwell and his personal Book of Hours - a luxurious French prayer book printed in Paris around 1527–1528 - currently at Hever Castle in Kent. The original manuscript became especially famous after scholars identified it as the very same jeweled prayer book shown beside Cromwell in Hans Holbein’s portrait of him.

This trinket box front features a hand-crafted border and set jewel, which is painted in immitation gold acyrlics. Two, hand-made, jewelled clasps also extend across the pages (decorative - not actually functual as clasps!) Inside the box, I have included an image featuring two celestial angels presenting a sacred emblem, symbolizing divine protection, devotion, and the ornate beauty of Renaissance manuscript art.

This is great for someone who appreciates the Tudor dynasty and Cromwell's story. It looks fantastic on a bookshelf, and for holding all your treasures.

Anne Boleyn – replica from the iconic portrait at Hever Castle. I loved painting this replica so much, and I’m excited to get started on the next one! I just need to decide which historical figure to paint next. I’m curious if people have any suggestions, I’m always at home painting the Tudor wives but I’m also keen to extend into other eras and royal families!

This Anne Boleyn portrait from my Tudor Collection is the perfect decor for a Tudor fan. The portrait is painted in acrylics, on a 12" x 16" sized canvas board; perfect for filling an alcove or blank wall space, or propped on a desk within a suitably sized frame. This painting is based on the classic, widely recognised portrait of Anne (the orginal being on display at Hever Castle) with her "B" necklace and pearls, holding a red rose.
