Understanding the difference between wet and dry wood is essential for an efficient and safe fire 🔥

Dry Wood:
✅ Burns hotter and more efficiently
✅ Lower particulate emissions
✅ Helps protect your stove
✅ Below 20% moisture content, 10–15% is ideal

Wet Wood:
❌ Excess smoke and pollution
❌ Wastes heat
❌ Causes soot and tar build-up
❌ Above 20% moisture content

Using the right fuel makes a significant difference to performance, air quality, and the lifespan of your stove. To ensure your wood fuel has a moisture content of below 20% look for the logo when buying your fuel.
