With 25 years experience designing interior spaces, I have knowledge, integrity and insight. I am passionate about creating spaces for living and breathing.

My design philosophy is to draw out the personality & vision of my clients in an open & articulate way, to create the living spaces entirely attuned to them & their properties, be they historic or modern buildings & interiors, domestic or commercial. From concept through all stages of design, planning and implementation, I hope to inspire and guide your decisions. Having worked for many years in T

EDWARDIAN TOWNHOUSE • Warm pink sun-kissed sitting room.

The evening sun in this room is like a big sunset hug. Everything in this space says something about the home owner. From the variety of textures - velvet, sheepskin, wool, to the warmth of the mustard and ochre, floral and geometric fabrics.

We have pattern on pattern and lots of art to show this client’s liveliness and love of a comfortable creative space.
This approach is at the heart of our design practice - to bring out the personality of our clients and to create warm inviting spaces with real soul that are purposefully designed to elevate your daily life.

ENTRANCE HALL • This hallway is an Edwardian townhouse we recently completed in Hastings Old Town.

Soft biscuit walls with bold stair runner, oversized lighting for a bit of glamour. Vintage telephone table upholstered in zinger zig zag fabric and gobstopper glass lamp makes for a warm and inviting first impression.

The antique grandfather clock and star burst rug - a mix of old and new - setting the tone for the whole house.

Life lately

July was a gorgeously hot, busy month! Felt like my feet didn’t touch the ground.

Bold velvet sofa and gallery wall installed for a project in Hastings which was photographed this month- stay tuned for the finished shots.

My Georgian house project- a full kitchen redesign, ready for the strip-out in September and install in November.

Photoshoot day in Hastings.

Red was a running theme this month- my street stall find I simply couldn’t leave behind!

Browsing the books outside the National Film Theatre on the South Bank followed by Much Ado About Nothing at the Globe- highly recommend.

Anish Kapoor at the Hayward - always inspiring.

Stepped away from this desk for a few days for my holidays in France.

Obligatory visit to the French Bronccantes- Japanese vase only €1900 Euros.

And this glorious green ceramic clock - the perfect balance of style and whimsy.

Big party for a dear friend’s 60th birthday- one advantage of the hot summer- al fresco dining!

Teen bedrooms you wouldn’t be ashamed to host weekend guests in.

The transition from child’s bedroom to teen space can be treated like an afterthought or quick fix- slap on a pastel wall colour, chuck on a new bedspread and play it safe with a print to make it ‘funky’.

And the trope about messy, lazy teenagers doesn’t help the stereotype that teens don’t deserve nice spaces.

But teenagers are deserving of thoughtful design. Their room is super-important at this stage of life. Giving them a place that feels like somewhere privacy, creativity, rest and self-expression can all co-exist isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about helping them feel grounded at home through exams, friendship dramas and big life decisions.

And if weekend guests can stay in there without feeling like they’re at a youth hostel, all the better.

PALETTE • So lucky to work with clients who invest in their homes. Simplifying the palette in this rural barn by painting all surfaces with a natural alabastine lime finish has transformed the space. Huge thanks to and for making this process smooth and fabulous to see.

We are now continuing with additional textures in the kitchen with new creamy worktop to balance the earthenware floor. Antique brass ironmongery to off set the Mirano glass chandeliers and having fun with textiles from with heavy jacquards and wonderful wools.
All coming together well

GREEN ROOM • This is a special space 💚

With the May Day celebrations behind us it is time to embrace the sunshine. This south facing reception room is filled with fabulous light off set with a soft emerald green.

Everything here is designed to bring the garden into the room. Enjoy the floral embroidery, the sumptuous shades of green and comfort while enjoying the view.

GREEN ROOM • Renovating a favoured family space is a rewarding process. The right shade of green was key to the freshness in this room. Despite being south facing, it was previously a little gloomy having bottle green walls and ceiling.

Decoration was a delicate process with centuries old ceiling and substantial preparation needed on the walls as we added wall lights and brighter more architectural pendants.

Hanging the homeowners extensive art collection - a blend of landscapes where the homeowners had previously lived with portraits of the ancestors sitting comfortably together. This was a tricky endeavour requiring the help of a laser.

Palette, comfort and a place for everyone all played their part in creating this favourite family space.
