We make and sell unique hand crafted items that are created to a high standard. All pictures and cards are designed and made locally using sea glass collected from the beaches on the Moray Firth. Hand-made textiles are also available, including Tote bags, Aprons, Brooches and Fairies. About us: -

rna. She has an amazing talent and a fantastic eye for details. Thomas Malarky – Thomas & Blue are our suppliers. When in MacDuff, he goes out with Blue (Lorna & Thomas' young collie dog) and they find the sea glass we use (Blue tends to dig it up). It has become his new favourite hobby :-)

Last year in a café, Lorna and I were discussing the sea glass that Thomas had been collecting and how My life had changed after giving up work to care for my children. Lorna had been making some pictures but was running out of room in her house and I needed something to keep my mind engaged. Both of us put our heads together and came up with the idea of starting a business and maybe one day opening a coffee shop of our own to display the pictures. Coming up with a name was tricky, it had to combine both of us. My sister was one out of many family members that were asked for ideas and came up with the name “ A little bit of Malarky” and so it began!
