🎄 Christmas Table Arrangement Workshop |Gweithdy Trefniant Bwrdd Nadolig 🎄

Create your own beautiful table arrangement (circular or rectangular shape available) which will be full of seasonal flowers, foliage and festive accents.

One session available - Thursday 17 December 6pm - 8pm

£55 per person (£10 non-refundable deposit required to book your space)

Bulbs...glorious bulbs...

They're now starting to arrive ready for you to plan, purchase and plan in October/November for Spring 2027.

We've had a delivery of;

1. Crocus - mix of various colours
2. Tulips - from the traditional to the unusual
3. Daffodils
4. Iris
5. Alium - Schubertii, Hair and Art!
6. Native English Bluebells

And lots of others, and as always, never your normal bulbs!

We have so many talented customers, that I thought that we would start sharing some of their talents!

After entering Sioe Abergynolwyn Show last week, and after discussion about the challenges of tomato growing, we asked him to create something in celebration of 'The Tomato'

Gardeners’ Test

Round and red
That’s what they said
The tomato should look like
But green and small it remained
The subborn little tyke

I watered and fed it
Morn and night
With lots of
Tomorite (other feeds available)
It stayed the same as before
I think just out of spite

Then one day as I ceded defeat
I opened the greenhouse door
And there presented to me proudly
Were huge red orbs galore

So what had happened to
Make them see sense
And do as I had asked
They tried my patience long enough
To carry out their task

They tasted great in soup and sandwich
Equally as good
But still don’t know what changed their minds
And perhaps I never would

We specialise in Living Wreaths, where we use plants and fresh flowers, so there’s limited wastage and always a memory of your loved one.

It is always a privilege to be asked to create a an arrangement to remember a loved one.

This circular wreath will be taken to a natural burial site within Gwynedd.

Everything used to create this bespoke wreath, to the specifications of the family, is biodegradable i.e. a willow wreath, moss, twine and all foliage and flowers bound with twine.

As a florist, I listen and discuss with the family their colour scheme, flower choice, budgetary requirements and from there create something unique for their loved one.

🌼 Daffodil bulbs | Bwlbiau Cennin Pedr 🌼

I've just had confirmation that the Welsh daffodil bulbs (Pembrokeshire cultivated) are now available - and have arrived!

We have 6 different varieties for sale, which bloom from the end of January to March.

Varieties arriving :

1. Warleggan (slightly shorter stem) - flowers in April. Bright yellow petals with a matching deep, ruffled yellow cup.

2. Cornish Pride- flowers end of January. Early-flowering, strong upright daffodil featuring vivid yellow trumpet flowers.

3. Mellen - flowers in February. A specialty variety of Pembrokeshire-grown Welsh daffodil. It features traditional bright yellow petals.

4. McLoed - flowers in March. A historic daffodil variety with vivid yellow petals.

5. Dellan- flowers in March. Large-cupped daffodil featuring vibrant, strong yellow blooms with a classic shape and a slightly short trumpet.

6. St.Keverne - flowers end of February. An heirloom, large-cupped yellow daffodil known for its rich, golden-yellow petals and wide, flared trumpet.

Echinacea Hot Pink and Echinacea Lipstick

Easy to grow, these bold, tough perennials are increasingly popular in gardens. Flowering in late summer, they combine well with other late perennials and grasses, especially in prairie-style plantings. The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies.

Coneflowers need a position in full sun in soil that drains easily, tolerating dry soil.

Coneflowers do not flower freely in shade. They prefer being planted in spring and summer, as autumn plantings are more prone to rotting off in winter, especially on wet or heavy soils. They also dislike being disturbed, so plants are best allowed to form large clumps.
