I’m starting up a Art Group for people that are struggling mentally or just need that break from everyday life to help with their mental health wellbeing.
The reason behind this is for 5 months I’ve been in hospital battling against a mental health condition and it’s definitely been a battle. There was Art Therapy on both wards which I have been on and it’s helped me along the way and also so many others.
Now I want to give back and show people that there’s loads of people out there struggling to and it’s ok not to be ok. Hopefully it will encourage people to open up that they are struggling mentally or just in general and hopefully this can provide a safe, calm environment for them to express their feelings in art or with others. Let’s hope with donations and people numbers let’s hope the group can get big enough to open to more people and the wider community.

Donations are welcome in money form or even just some paper or crayons. Anything we can do arty things with.
